Spring 2025
For this project in Interaction Design II, we were tasked with creating an animated title sequence. I drew inspiration from the iconic opening credits of American Horror Story (especially Coven) focusing on eerie pacing, rich textures, and unsettling mood. I handled all aspects of the piece, from video, text, and audio editing to visual design. The final sequence was created in After Effects, with additional Photoshop work on illustrations sourced from the original book that inspired the concept. The result is a dark, atmospheric intro that blends haunting sound design with layered visuals to set the tone for a fictional series.
Spring 2025
For this assignment, we were tasked with showcasing four different animation techniques within designated boxes. Paired with a fun color pallet, this short animation experiments with timing, weight, color and even sound to bring each technique to life in a dynamic way.
Fall 2024
For this assignment, we created a 45-60 second animation that blended sound, color, and a central theme based on a chosen word. I explored "Infected" through a vivid, psychedelic aesthetic, using abstract, germ-like shapes that morph and evolve as they progress through different stages of contamination.
Fall 2024
In this project, we were challenged to animate three words through movement that reflected their meaning. For my piece, I explored Rise, Rest, and Descend, bringing each word to life through fluid motion and seamless transitions. Using a classic typewriter typeface, the animation creates a visually engaging interpretation of each action, turning simple words into a fun visual experience!
