In this project, we were challenged to create a pocket-sized, 10-step how-to booklet using mixed media styles such as photo collage and illustration. For my piece, I took a sarcastic approach, crafting a guide on "How to Survive a Horror Movie in 10 Steps"—except each step offers fake instructions that would undoubtedly lead to demise! The design features black and white imagery layered on a paper background, with strategic pops of color adding visual interest to each page. This playful yet macabre twist allowed me to explore unconventional storytelling while experimenting with a variety of artistic techniques.
