In this project, we were tasked with turning an idiom—an expression with a meaning that can't be deciphered by defining the individual words—into a door tag design. I chose the idiom "heard it through the grapevine" and depicted ears on a literal grapevine for the front, and a wine-themed design for the back. I aimed for a playful, colorful, and cartoony style to bring the idiom to life, infusing whimsy and charm into the design while ensuring its clarity and relevance to the idiom's meaning.
