In this project, we were challenged to combine an art movement with a historical movement and I chose to merge Pop Art with the powerful message of the Me Too movement. This project holds deep personal meaning for me as a feminist woman, allowing me to use striking colors, graphic elements, and strong typography to amplify the voices of survivors and advocate for change. Through this fusion, I aimed to create a visually compelling and thought-provoking piece that captures the urgency and empowerment of the movement while embracing the eye-catching, rebellious spirit of Pop Art.
